Since 2003 the Port City family has been seeking to honor God in
Mobile, Alabama. Our church family, currently about 300 members, is a blended family of people from all walks of life and experiences. We have an intense desire to be real and relational in our walk with Christ. Our worship is purposefully planned every week to help connect people's hearts to God's. As soon as you walk through the doors you'll have people waiting to help you feel welcome and a part of the family. Our prayer is that you find Port City to be a body of believers seeking Jesus, and God's plan for our lives.
When We Gather
At
Port
City we have many different ministries that meet at different times. Our church family meets for Bible classes on Sunday morning at 9:ooam and on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. In addition to those meetings, the entire church gathers to worship together on Sunday mornings at 10am. On the first Sunday evening of each month worship at the building begins at 6pm. Our LIFE Groups meet at different times as listed under the Community/LIFE Group tab.
How To Get Involved
We really desire for you to use your God-given gifts and abilities for service in the body. We offer a host of opportunities for you to plug in wherever God has gifted you, whether it's teaching class, working with the children's ministry, helping with teens, etc. Just let us know how you want to serve.
Life Groups
Life Groups offer an opportunity for our church family to build solid and lasting relationships that help shape each other more like Jesus. Groups begin around February and run through November, and guests are always welcome to attend. Life Groups consist of members of our church family, and have different dynamics for all types of families.
Staff
Our staff currently consists of Bruce Stewart our Preaching Minister, Joey and Callie Peacher our Youth and Family Ministers, and Dorothy Harris our Administrative Minister.
Shepherds & Ministry Leaders
The Church family is led by 5 shepherds and 22 ministry leaders, all who have a heart for Jesus Christ.
